NBA - News: L.a. Clippers take Isaiah Hartenstein under contract

Isaiah Hartenstein (birthed May 5, 1998) is a German-American professional basketball player that last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The L.a. Clippers have taken the German Center Isaiah Hartenstein under contract. However, as ESPN insiders reported, the agreement is initially only a non-guaranteed training camp deal.

The 23-year-old Hartenstein spent the past season with the Denver Nuggets and was shipped to the Cleveland Cavalliers before the Trade Deadline. At the CAVs, Hartenstein put his best career cut in the NBA with 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.

In Cleveland Hartenstein had a player option of $ 1.7 million, but rejected them to become free agent instead. However, the CAVs did not give Hartenstein no qualifying offer, which is why he became unrestricted free agent.
