Persona 5 stormed the world of video game, so it is not surprising that not only did we get an improved refill in Persona 5 Royal, but an entire suite that brings you back to the world. A few months after the original game, Strikers sees the Phantom Thieves get together for a summer trip, only to be trained in a new crisis — the oppressed people use a mysterious application to create prisons through Japan, forcing anyone hears a Keyword Specific to have a change of mind, become a fanatic of these monarchs. It is the ghost thieves to go to the bottom of things, releasing the society of the metaporessic control.
Unlike Persona 5 or Persona 5: Royal, Persona 5: Strikers is an RPG of action, and it takes the things of a notch with new skills and larger areas, giving entire crowds of shadows to mow. Rather than palaces, we obtain the aforementioned prisons — distorted versions of various regions of Japan: rather than whole metal constructs such as, for example, pyramids and casinos, we get a distorted version of the area itself, as Shibuya, as a playground.
The above trailer shows some ghost thieves, including the new Sophia addition. Unfortunately, two Persona 5 and Royal Phantoms withdraw from the new adventure, with Gore and Kane missing — each for different reasons, although it would certainly be able to see them appear, especially given the mysterious fate of Gore in the end of Persona 5 Royal.
Still, it seems that we will have more action and more adventure, and the game is even better while maintaining the distinctive anime style of its prequel, with cleaner and more dynamic animations adapted to the new style of play. Unfortunately There are still no news of a PS5 version, but if the PS4 edition is as good, we can only imagine what an upgrade would look like.
If Persona 5 Strikers aimed to steal our hearts, we must give it to them: they would say they have succeeded.
